Full policy
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the SocialBroom app for iPhone and Android, and to this website. In it, “SocialBroom”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Aguadulce Private Limited, the maker of SocialBroom. Read it together with our Terms of Use.
2. Information that stays on your phone
SocialBroom keeps the following on your phone. We don’t receive any of it.
- Logins for the apps you open in SocialBroom. You sign in on each app’s own page, and we never see passwords.
- Your settings, such as the sweeps you choose, daily limits, grayscale hours and notification choices.
- Stats: time and sweeps, counted on your phone and kept for 30 days.
- Copies of the sweep reports you’ve sent.
SocialBroom never collects your passwords, your messages and posts, or what you watch.
3. Information we receive
- Sweep reports. When you report a broken sweep, you check the report before it’s sent. It includes no usernames, messages or logins.
- Emails. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. Emails started from the app also include your SocialBroom version and your phone’s system version, nothing else.
- Sweep list downloads. SocialBroom downloads its list of what to sweep from our server. Like any download, the request comes from your phone’s internet connection, so our server sees an IP address. The request carries nothing from your apps, and we use it only to deliver the list.
- App stores. Apple and Google run the App Store and Google Play. They may give us download numbers and, if you’ve chosen to share them, crash reports, under their own privacy policies.
- This website. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives standard request details, such as IP address and browser type. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. It sets no cookies.
4. How we use information
We use what we receive to:
- answer your emails and help with problems;
- fix broken sweeps and, if you’ve turned that note on, let you know when a sweep you reported is fixed;
- deliver the sweep list and keep it secure; and
- meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
5. The apps you open in SocialBroom
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit and LinkedIn are run by other companies. When you use them in SocialBroom, you’re on their own pages, and they receive what you do there under their own privacy policies, as they would in their own apps. SocialBroom doesn’t change settings on your accounts, and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
6. When information is shared
We share information only with service providers that help us run SocialBroom, such as email and hosting providers, when the law requires it, or when it’s needed to protect people or the service. If Aguadulce Private Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information we hold may transfer as part of it, and this policy will still apply to it.
7. Keeping and erasing information
Information on your phone stays there until you erase it, and stats are kept for 30 days. Settings → Clear data → Erase everything signs you out of every app and resets your settings and stats. Deleting SocialBroom removes everything it kept.
We keep emails and sweep reports only as long as we need them to help you and to keep basic records. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information we hold about you. Write to us and we’ll help. We may need to confirm it’s you first.
8. Children
SocialBroom isn’t meant for children under 13. The apps you open in SocialBroom have their own minimum ages, and those still apply. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Security
Because your data stays on your phone, we hold very little. The sweep list is signed, so it can’t be changed on its way to your phone. Anyone who can unlock your phone can open SocialBroom, so keep a passcode on it.
10. Changes and contact
We’ll update this policy as SocialBroom changes and change the effective date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll tell you in the app or on this site before they take effect. Questions or requests: info@socialbroom.com.
