Accessibility

SocialBroom should work for everyone.

We’re working to make SocialBroom and this website usable with different devices, settings and assistive technologies. If something gets in your way, we want to know.

Grayscale works inside SocialBroom’s apps. With reduced motion, parts disappear without the broom.
Current approach

What we do on this website

Accessibility is ongoing work. These practices help, but they don’t mean every page is free of barriers.

Keyboard and focus

Links and controls should be reachable with a keyboard and show a clear focus ring. A skip link jumps past the navigation.

Clear structure

Headings, landmarks and labels give each page a predictable order for screen readers.

Readable on any screen

Pages reflow from a phone to a large display, text can be zoomed, and colours are checked for contrast.

Motion you can turn off

When your device asks for reduced motion, the site’s animations stop. Nothing is shown only through movement.

In the app

Inside the apps you open

When you open Instagram, YouTube or another app in SocialBroom, you’re using that app’s own page, so much of its accessibility is up to the app’s maker. SocialBroom aims to stay out of the way of VoiceOver, TalkBack, larger text and the other settings you rely on.

This isn’t a conformance claim.

This page describes our current practice and direction. It isn’t a certification against an accessibility standard, and there may be gaps we haven’t found yet.

Reports from people using screen readers, magnification, voice control, switch access or other technology help us find them.

Report a barrier

Tell us what stopped you

A short, specific report helps us understand what happened. Share only what you’re comfortable with.

Helpful details

  • The page, app or screen you were on.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • Your phone or computer and its system version, if you know them.
  • Any assistive technology or setting involved, such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or larger text.
  • A screenshot, if it shows nothing private.
