The basics
Is it really free?
Yes. Every app, every switch, daily limits and stats. No trial, no Pro plan, no card, and no paywall at the end of setup.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no SocialBroom account to make. You log in to each app on its own page inside SocialBroom, and that login stays on your phone.
Which apps does it work with?
Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit and LinkedIn. Sweeping on TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and LinkedIn is in beta. See what stays and what goes in each one.
Which phones does it work on?
Any iPhone with iOS 26 or later, and any Android phone with Android 12 or later.
Your apps and accounts
Is my login safe?
You log in on Instagram’s own page inside SocialBroom. Your login stays on your phone, and SocialBroom never sees your password. Instagram may email you about a new login, as it does when you sign in on a new phone.
Will I miss messages?
Your messages are all there when you open SocialBroom, on Instagram, Snapchat, X, Reddit and LinkedIn. SocialBroom doesn’t send message alerts, so if a group chat needs you right away, keep that app’s notifications on. TikTok’s phone page has no inbox, so TikTok messages don’t open here.
Can I still post?
Yes, from each app’s own page inside SocialBroom. A few extras from the full apps aren’t there, like music on Instagram Stories. On TikTok, recording and uploading still work.
Does it change my Instagram account?
No. SocialBroom never changes a setting on your account. It sweeps what shows on your screen. Sign out in SocialBroom and your account stays exactly as it was.
Do I have to delete the real apps?
No. SocialBroom doesn’t touch them. If an icon keeps pulling you back, move it off your Home Screen and open that app from SocialBroom.
How do I leave an app?
In every app, pull the green handle at the top of the left edge to the right. Once it snaps free, keep dragging, then let go. The app shrinks back into its icon on Home. Rather tap? The floating button’s Exit does the same. Turn it on in Settings → Floating button.
Sweeps and limits
Can I choose what gets swept?
Yes. Each app has a switch for every part SocialBroom can sweep, such as Stories, comments or suggested posts. Flip the ones you want gone. The full list is on What gets swept.
Can I set a daily limit?
Yes. Give any app 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or an hour a day. Your stats count time and sweeps on your phone and keep them for 30 days.
What happens when an app changes?
SocialBroom’s sweeps update on their own, without an app update. If an app changes first, SocialBroom tells you which sweeps are paused, and Reels, Shorts and For You stay swept.
What does Beta mean?
Sweeping on TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and LinkedIn is newer. When an app changes, a Reel or an ad can slip through for a while. Tell us and we’ll fix it.
Something slipped through. What do I do?
Report it in Settings → Help → Report a broken sweep. You check the report before it’s sent, and it includes no usernames, messages or logins. With notifications on, SocialBroom tells you when it’s fixed.
Privacy and your phone
Does it change anything else on my phone?
No. No Screen Time passcode, no VPN, no web filter, no access to your other apps. Delete it and it’s gone, like any app.
What does SocialBroom keep?
Your logins, settings and stats, all on your phone. Stats are kept for 30 days. We only get what you send: sweep reports and emails, when you choose to send them. Your data has the details.
How do I erase everything?
Go to Settings → Clear data → Erase everything. It signs you out of every app and resets your settings and stats on your phone. Deleting SocialBroom removes everything too.
