Why we’re building SocialBroom
Most of us don’t open Instagram to watch Reels. We open it to answer a message or see what a friend posted. Then the feed takes over, and one message turns into two hours.
The usual fixes don’t last. Deleting the app works until someone sends you something. A time limit is one tap away from Ignore. A blocker locks the whole app, messages included, so it gets switched off.
SocialBroom keeps the app and sweeps out the parts built to keep you scrolling: Reels, Shorts, For You and the suggestions in between. Your messages, the accounts you follow and the people you know stay.
We want you to open an app for a reason, do what you came for, and put your phone down.

Every app, every switch, daily limits and stats. No trial, no Pro plan and no paywall at the end of setup.
Leave the phone as it was
No Screen Time passcode, no VPN and no web filter. Delete SocialBroom and it’s gone, like any app.
Say when something slips
Apps change without warning. When a sweep pauses, SocialBroom tells you which one, and we fix it.
Seven apps, swept well
Instagram, YouTube and X are fully supported. TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and LinkedIn are in beta while their sweeps settle.
What beta means
Sweeping on TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and LinkedIn is newer. When an app changes, a Reel or an ad can slip through for a while. Tell us and we’ll fix it.
Direction, not a schedule
We add apps when their sweeps work well. This isn’t a promise of specific apps or dates.
